Purpose of Processing Personal Data:
To manage the customer relationship, process and deliver online orders, and carry out marketing activities.

Content of the Register:
The register stores information provided by the customer, including:

• First and last name
• Address
• Phone number
• Email
• Language preference
• Marketing consents and restrictions
• Information about customer purchases, deliveries, payment transactions, and submitted reviews

Information is collected from customers when they register on the online shop or place an order.

Use and Disclosure of Data:

• Personal data is used by Unavaate Oy employees.

• Data may be shared for technical administration of the online shop (e.g., server or platform management), for order delivery, for resolving payment issues, and with authorities where required or permitted by law.

Order information is stored indefinitely.

We use cookies to track visitor traffic and improve service quality. Cookies are stored on the user’s device, have limited lifespans, and do not cause harm.

The customer register is handled confidentially and protected from unauthorized access using firewalls and other technical safeguards.

• The register is stored electronically; any occasional paper printouts are immediately and securely destroyed.
• Only authorized personnel whose duties require access may use the register, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Each user has a personal username and password.

Right of Access:
Customers have the right under Finnish law to inspect the personal data stored about them. Requests must be submitted via a signed or otherwise verified document, or in person at our office. Requests should be sent to the contact person mentioned above, who will also respond to additional inquiries.

Updating Your Data:

• Customers can update their name and address in their online shop profile.
• Customers may also contact the designated contact person to update their data.

Other Rights Regarding Personal Data:
Customers have the right to prohibit the processing of their data for marketing purposes. Requests to restrict data processing should be sent via email to the register’s contact person.
